“How quickly can services begin?”

We understand many requests may come during a crisis, such as an unexpected hospital discharge. In most cases, we can conduct an initial assessment within 24 to 48 hours. Once the assessment is complete and a customized care plan is developed, we can typically match a caregiver and start services immediately. For urgent situations, we always do our best to expedite the process to ensure your loved one isn’t left without support.

“How do you select and vet your caregivers?”

Trust is the foundation of what we do. Every member of our team undergoes a rigorous screening process before they ever enter a client’s home. This includes:

  • Level 2 Background Checks: The highest standard of fingerprint-based screening
  • Credential Verification:  Ensuring all licenses (CNA, HHA, RN) are active and in good standing with the state
  • Personality Matching:        We don’t just look at skills; we look at temperament. We want to ensure the caregiver’s personality aligns with your loved one’s preferences to foster a genuine connection.

“Does my loved one have to give up their independence?”

Absolutely not. In fact, our goal is the exact opposite: to preserve independence. Many seniors struggle with “all-or-nothing” thinking, believing that if they can’t do everything, they must leave their home. Our role is to provide the “gap” support. Whether it may be help with a slippery shower or a ride to the grocery store, we ensure they can safely stay in the home they love. We are there as a supportive partner, not a replacement for their autonomy.

“How do we pay for these services?”

Navigating the financial side of care can feel overwhelming, but you have several options.

  • Long-Term Care Insurances: If your loved one has a specific LTC policy, it often covers nonmedical home care. We can help you navigate paperwork to start a claim.
  • Private Pay: Many families choose to pay out-of-pocket for maximum flexibility in hours and type of care.
